Solid Technologies for Higher Heating Loads

The standard 15-25kW pellet boiler technology can not be used in larger output systems. Therefore ETA have adapted it’s proven HACK wood chip boiler with a pneumatic pellet conveying system for situations where the heating load is greater than 25kW.

Using this system ETA have provided a well known boiler with lambda probe control, a tilting grate for automatic ash disposal, hot refractory lined furnace and an automatic heat exchanger cleaning system.  This high technical standard ensures lowest emissions, highest degree of efficiency, lowest power consumption, maximum reliability, simple operation and a minimum amount of maintenance.

Thanks to the use of a pneumatic conveyor system the PE-K range of boilers carries the same level of flexibility when choosing the main pellet hopper location as with the PE range. The main hopper can be located up to 20 meters away from the boiler and is fed with vacuum hoses.

The PE-K boiler can also be used in conjunction with bag silos, pre-constructed bins such as the BioBin and a full range of other options.

ETA PE-K Highlights

Tilting grate that empties any ash or soot build up from the burning chamber onto the ash screw

    • Refractory lined combustion chamber that allows the fuel to burn up to 1200°C without causing any damage to the boiler chassis.
    • Draught fan that is practically silent and provides negative pressure thought the boiler.
    • Lambda probe control that monitors the exhaust for 02 content on a real-time basis, this allows the boiler to modify burning conditions to suit changing fuel qualities.
    • Automatic ignition means the boiler can burn fuel or not burn fuel as the building requires.
    • Automatic ash disposal minimises the amount of maintenance time required by the customer on the boiler.
    • Complete control for 2 zones and one hot water tank, controls can be extended to integrate the boiler with a solar system or other external heat sources.
    • Weather compensated heating means that the boiler only has to heat water to the temperature required
