The
system consists of a straw shredder with 1, 2 or 3 shredder drums, depending
on the size of the system. On the shredder a straw bale conveyor is coupled up in modules of 3 metres
each. The shredder and conveyers are installed inside the main straw bale
store.
Shredder and conveyor are available in versions suitable for mini square,
medium square, std. round and large square bales.
The shredded straw is transported through a closed pipe system directly to
the cyclone of the boiler in the stoker room. From the cyclone the straw
is transported directly to the boiler where it is efficiently combusted in
the burning chamber. The boiler produces hot water to a heating network that links to items such as
house heating, grain drying etc.
A smoke suction system efficiently removes the smoke from the boiler to the chimney, and if required, via a smoke cyclone to keep the dust emissions at a
minimum - thereby obtaining a cleaner and more environmentally compatible
smoke quality.
The ashes are periodically pushed from the combustion chamber to an ash disposal auger. The auger then removes the ashes into an ash container. The system is fully
automatically controlled via a PLC-control unit, which at the same time
monitors whether the system is constantly performing at its best
