This is a large new build outside Ballyhaise in Co. Cavan. The owner went down the road of wood chip for heating their house as a result of a local supplier being available to them.

This is a very large house with approximately 5000 square feet of under floor heating to be kept warm in the house. The garage, boiler house and fuel store is in a detached new building approximately 20 meters away from the house. Heating water is pumped into the house via a pre-insulated duo pipe that has a very low level of heat loss from it.

This customer opted for an ETA HACK 25 wood chip boiler. The large house has been insulated up to the highest standards and as a result this small output boiler is more than able to keep the house warm and the hot water cylinder hot.

The fuel store for the boiler is located in an adjoining room to the boiler. Fuel is filled into the store through an opening in the external wall.
